Indoor Air Quality Assessment
>> Wednesday, June 23, 2010
Indoor air quality is essential for good health, for the comfort we’re wanted from offices at work, homes and recreational environment.
Indoor Air Quality assessment is the process of determining and remediates the air quality inside your home, offices, hotels and restaurant.
We can never assure ourselves to the air quality we breathe especially when it comes to indoor air, but all of us have the ability to control the quality of our own indoor air.
?? Know the cause
Causes affecting Indoor Air
- Temperature and humidity extremes
- Carbon dioxide
- Carbon monoxide
- Formaldehyde
- Particulates
- Volatile organiccompounds (VOCs)
- Inadequate ventilation(insufficient outside air,insufficient airflow,inadequate circulation)
- Microbial matter
?? What is the Solution
Air & Odor Management specialized to IAQ assessment where includes walk-through inspection, evaluation and measurement of thermal comfort and air contaminants. The most advanced IAQ instruments are employed to conduct the survey. The values measured shall be compared against the maximum threshold limits set by the NEA.
IAQ Survey Parameters:
- Carbon dioxide (CO₂)
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Formaldehyde (HCHO)
- Ozone (O₃)
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- Respirable Suspended Particulates (RSP)
- Relative Humidity
- Air Temperature
- Air Velocity and Air Flow
- Total Bacteria Counts
- Total Fungal Counts
